Motts for Tots Daycare/preschool sampling program building awareness of a new healthy beverage.

The Story: Mott’s applesauce is well known with moms and kids, but Mott’s for Tots was looking for a boost to build awareness and recognition of their new SKU in the juice aisle. Kaleidoscope connected with our preschool and daycare partners to provide parents with samples of this healthy beverage option. We also produced and distributed a printed newsletter that included a coupon insert that targeted active families and resonated with their lifestyle.

The Happy Ending: Sampling and collateral pieces were distributed to parents at each daycare/preschool, reaching more than 850,000 households. Post-sampling research among participating parents showed that 93% of parents liked the Mott’s for Tots sample, and 92% indicated positive purchase intent. In addition, 71% of parents indicated that they would use the coupon they received. We achieved our goal – Mott’s for Tots is hot!
