The Story: We set out to establish the 100% electric Nissan LEAF as a leader in environmental education and advocacy among our nation’s youth. Our goal was to educate and inspire children to become family and community influencers by providing valuable resources, tools and content to educators – with a focus on STEM skills.
The Happy Ending: Kaleidoscope created Choose Zero, a program targeting 3rd – 8th grade students, teachers, and parents. This dynamic in-school program reached 2.5 million students and families in 7 Nissan LEAF launch states. Nissan was able to empower kids to advocate change through student and teacher websites that housed educational resources and multimedia tools to promote CO2 reduction and environmental advocacy. Plus, we revved up the fun and involvement with a sweepstakes for families and teachers to win a three-year lease on a new Nissan LEAF.
