Emoji’s and social media go hand in hand. Social media has the power to greatly impact sales. Brands are starting to put in requests for their own symbol or image. Images can vary from a waffle to Guinness’ request for a stout beer emoji.
Twitter recently started promoting events like the NBA All Star weekend with custom player emoji’s that appear when a specific hashtag is referenced in a tweet. The options are endless and brands are taking notice.
